Pet eagle
Me: So, you don't have any pets?
Friend: No, I don't have any myself. But my brother has a really cool pet.
Me: Oh yeah? What is it?
Friend: An eagle.
Me: What? Are you serious?
Friend: Yeah... he's had it for just about a year. It's really cute.
Me: So where does he keep it? And what does he feed it?
Friend: He keeps it in a cage in his room. I'm not sure what he feeds it. I think it eats bugs.
Me: Bugs? At one year old?
Friend: Yeah and he gives it small pellets, too.
Me: ... Wait... we are talking about a bird here, right?
Friend: No not a bird, haha! You know, those cute little animals with the sharp fur.
Me: Okay wait... you mean eagle as in German "der Igel" as in a HEDGEHOG?
Friend: Yeah! That's what it's called! Hedgehog. I forgot the English name for it.
